Grievance Day is Wednesday, May 26, 2021 between the hours of 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Grievance will be held in person and masks will be madatory.  You do not need to be present to have your complaint heard.  If you do not wish to present your case to the Board of Assessment Review, kindly have you application along with any supporting documentation dropped off at the Assessor's office prior to the start of the meeting.

Pursuant to §506 and §526 of the Real Property Tax Law:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Town of Pawling, County of Dutchess, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for 2021, a copy of which is available online at https://pawling.org/

The Assessor will be in attendance with such tentative roll at the Town Hall located at 160 Charles Colman Boulevard, Pawling. Due to continued Covid-19 restrictions, the Town Hall remains closed to the public without an appointment. The Assessor will be accepting appointments for the following dates and times to allow for anyone wishing to view the tentative roll.

Monday May 3rd                    10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Thursday May 6th                  10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Thursday May 13th                10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday May 15th                  8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Formal written complaints with respect to the assessments should be filed with the Assessor in person or by mail any time prior to or on May 26, 2021, Grievance Day, and be addressed to the Board of Assessment Review c/o Assessor, 160 Charles Colman Blvd., Pawling, NY 12564.
