CLASSIFICATION: Family Ground.
LOCATION: Near Mizzen Top, by the road.
CONDITION: In order.
INSCRIPTIONS: 26 in number. Copied August 24, 1914, by J. W. Poucher, M.
D., and Mrs. H. N. Bain.
REMARKS: Known as the Akin ground. Restored to order in late years by Mr.
Martin Leach, who has also provided a fund for permanent care.

NAME: Turner Ground
LOCATION: ¼ mile north on South Road from Holmes Rd. (RT.292) is “Valley Road” (now abandoned), go west about 1 mile over rough terrain, after crossing a stream with RR ties, proceed 70 feet, enter break in stone wall, go 100’ up hill to gravesite.
CLASSIFICATION: family
CONDITION: very poor
INSCRIPTIONS: 2 + 15 fieldstones (7-8 graves) O.S. 1870
REMARKS: 25’ x 50’, owner of property William Pendley, our Committtee the site by two lovely people, Annette and Henry La Fountain (who have since moved away Pawling), several Ludingtons are interred here (one of whom, a boy of 15 yrs., drowned nearby in a bog)
